System Design and Planning

ARAS Technology works with all builders, developers, architects & designers, from the designing phase to implementation & installation of KNX systems and facilitation within both residential & commercial projects. From system design, lighting control layouts, pre-wiring for future implementation & recommendations on the latest audio video and home automation systems equipment.

We specialize in designing fully customized KNX smart-home systems to suit the specific needs, preferences and requirements of our customers.

Designed to perfection and with full attention to detail

Design is intelligence made visible

Smart-homes integrated with KNX Technology can be completely controlled, monitored and managed from anywhere in the world.

Set timers and schedule power to start (or turn off) for any electrical device connected to the KNX bus — such as garden sprinklers, HVAC, lighting, curtains and blinds, etc.

Monitor and control security features in real-time when you are not home — such as locks, gates, surveillance monitors and more.

KNX residential smart-home systems are robust in design, extremely reliable and easy to operate for end-users of all ages.

Reliability:

KNX functionality method of a bus system is extremely reliable - it doesn't use a main controller, instead of a central “brain” managing everything, many smart products communicate with each other. That means - the system remains operational when a component gets faulty. KNX is not a manufacturer, it is a standard - components that are installed now can be replaced or upgraded after several years, if needed, without replacing the whole system. It is not IP based, as a result it doesn't depend on router, network switch or Wi-Fi. That means if any of the network components fail - this system - lights, shades, HVAC or any other devices controlled by KNX will work. The system has an IP gateway to communicate with the app, like Control4 app, so the only thing that won’t work in case of a network failure will be the app on the mobile device. It is also hacker-proof.

Reduced Wiring

One communication cable throughout the building will reach anywhere you need a switch, a keypad, a touch screen, sensors or any device to control. Switches and motion sensors can act as a temperature probes – no need for additional wiring for HVAC thermostat and temperature sensors. Super easy to create 2, 3, 4 way switch configuration, if compared with classical electrical installation.

All the switches, keypads and sensors are connected to a one low voltage wire and completely separated from high voltage. It is safer and easy to upgrade. All line voltage devices are located in the panel. As a result electrical flow is stopped at the panel and that reduces electrical radiation inside the rooms.

Perfect for size restrictive environments

With the help of over 6000 manufacturers of different products means that the products contain multiple types of functionality that can fit within small spaces if necessary or be linked within the home in different areas. By integrating KNX systems in any residential home you are essentially future-proofing that residence for life. KNX is the only internationally recognized standard for wired building technology. It is the only automation system that complies with the requirements of the European (EN50090) and the International (ISO/IEC14543) standards for Home Automation. Therefore KNX offers the best guarantees in terms of future compatibility with all automated devices (KNX is already prepared for next-Generation smart-home products). KNX systems can be easily upgraded and modified over time to suit the ever-changing needs of home owners and occupants as their lifestyle and preferences change.
